Bay Laurel Hedge Plants

From £39.99

Bay Laurel (Laurus nobilis), also known as Sweet Bay is known for its many talents, from being evergreen, one of the oldest known hedging plants in cultivation to being a hit in the kitchen. Laurus nobilis hedging boasts dark green, aromatic foliage that can be used in many cooking dishes. Bay Laurel also offers pale yellow flowers from March-May and looks great when clipped into a neat form. Bay Laurel hedging is a fairly slow grower so it keeps its shape well.

This Laurel shrub is tender and needs to be positioned in a sheltered spot and given stem protection during the cold weather. However, Laurus nobilis is exceptionally drought tolerant and thrives in the hot sun due to its Mediterranean heritage.
