Bird Cherry

Prunus padus hedging

From £7.99

Bird Cherry (Prunus padus) is a native deciduous hedging plant that is often found in a mixed native hedge. However Prunus padus shines on its own with its small scented flowers and sour cherries that are a real treat for birds.

Often found within a mixed native hedge, Bird Cherry (Prunus padus) is an ideal hedging plant for almost any garden. Although most suited to be planted amongst other native hedging plants, this species does well on its own and is a great attraction for birds. If planted alone, it can be allowed to grow as a tree which will make a lovely feature for your garden.

Prunus padus has small, white scented flowers and black sour cherries that birds are particularly fond of. Please see our Native Hedging range and create your own mixed native hedge.
