Carex pendula

Weeping Sedge Grass

Carex pendula is a native ornamental grass which is commonly found wild in damp woods and shady places. It makes an interesting garden perennial and is best grown in a cool, damp soil, in a shady or sunny position but self-seeds readily. This ornamental grass is stunning enough to be planted alone or can be planted amongst other ornamental grasses to create an informal border.
