More commonly known as Burning Bush, Euonymus ‘Alatus’ is a deciduous shrub with green elliptical foliage and tiny greenish flowers in spring. The flowers are followed later by reddish-purple fruits that split to reveal orange seeds. However, it is in autumn that the shrub simply bursts into colour taking on the intense red and pink colouration which gives it its name. A perfect specimen shrub for superb autumn colour. Height and spread at maturity 2m x 3m.

Slow growing so requires little maintenance. Simply cut out any damaged or crossing branches and older stems to promote a more open branch framework. Carry out pruning when dormant in late winter or early spring.
