    Himalyan Cotoneaster hedging
Cotoneaster simonsii , also known as Himalayan Cotoneaster, is know for its large berries and brightly coloured foliage.

Cotoneaster simonsii is an evegreen variety of Cotoneaster, although it only retains its leaves in mild winters. It has an upright growing habit and small green leaves that are known to turn red in the autumn meaning this hedging plant provides wonderful seasonal colour. But that's not all, Himalyan Cotoneaster also has white and pink flowers that will blossom around June time, these are very attractive to bees and also bright red berries will produce in the autumn which stay on the stems for a while meaning birds are free to graze.

You can plant this variety on its own or it does well planted with other Cotoneaster varieties.
