Williams Bon Chrétien pears are immensely popular for their sweet, juicy and refreshing flesh. This great garden tree produces regular crops of large oval fruits. Their smooth skin is pale green in colour turning golden yellow. The latin name for this tree is Pyrus communis 'Williams' Bon Chrétien'. It is compact in habit and has stunning white scented flowers in the spring and oval green leaves. The cropping period is early/mid season (September). Williams Pear trees are best suited to clay, sandy or loam soil types and best positioned in full sun.
