Prunus 'Amanogawa' is a distinctive tree with elevated branches and pale pink cherry blossom. The large dense clusters of light pink flowers have a pleasant and subtle fragrance in spring. Bronzed green foliage turns to mid-green in the summer and then bursts into orange and red colours later in the year for an autumnal display. The common name for this prunus is Japanese Cherry Amanogawa. Japanese Cherry trees are suited to all soil types and prefer a position in full sunlight. In 10 years, 'Amanogawa will be a height and spread of 4 x 1 metres.
