Topiary domes differ from other topiary styles as they are usually a lot larger, allowing more freedom of plant choice. Unlike traditional topiary that typically uses small leaved, dense plants such as Box, topiary domes are grown using much larger leaved plants that have a more relaxed look. Some great examples are Hornbeam, Field Maple and Beech, all commonly used for their soft leaf movement.
Topiary domes are a flattened round shape that is perfect for planting around pathways and driveways, adding flow leading up to your home. What’s great about the size and freedom around this topiary style is that you can bring individuality and uniqueness to your garden with a statement aesthetic.
